Last night while i was half way breaking down, thx to transamination, biochem thing, a big humongous beetle flew into the living room and buzz like nobody's business. me n tiana initially thought it was a bee(that attacked us too, 2 days ago) but nooo its a friggin mutated beetle. eeek. and i was studying in the living room, mind you. gah. Karma took over, it was dead the next thing i knew. got chopped off by the ceiling fan.. haha

N guess wat ppl? today is the 31st already! the very last 23 or less hours of the year 2009. Din realize until aiwen reminded me. gahh.. Im gonna miss u. Its apparently the best year throughout my 19 years. haha. why so? well..lots of reason. there wont be enuf space for me to list everything down here. =p and im soo worn out now. but here's the top 3 reasons, for u curious ones hehe:

1) the before aimst: i went through a lot of things which nvr in my life i thought it will happen. say clubbing? haha. that's not the main point. hm maybe it is HAHA
but the subpoints are, u see, first of all to start doing wat im doing now, blogging.=D
secondly working (with so so many jobs) hence made my own account(those manual scribling-on-book kind LOL) n monitor my own finance, which obviously din turn out quite well lol..
thirdly went on so so many trips, rmbr Redang? heh.
fourthly got myself into a carcrash, almost.. Oh yeah, discovered my unexpectedly-good sam results hence dentisty!..wat else? erm meeting really nice ppl *warm* (yeah...U! =p) and also awful ones......etc etc

2) the AFTER aimst: met MORE friendly ppl, many truths came in, like an honest friendship or ur crush finally revealed LOL, got to know aimst is not tat bad afterall =pp, admire the greens in kedah, realized im actly capable of taking care of myself, to extra extra love my family knowing how much they sacrifice and love you back more than anyone else.. .. ..

3) i think tats all i can think of now. brain jam. need sleep. recharge.

a lil sneak preview of wats gonna happen tonight : im having a mini xmas countdown with my housemate. Tiana.=) The whole unit left just the two of us as jorim went back home for the rest of the study break..and the other 2 had just fnished their exams and so, flew back for the hols. Its just too quiet in here, a lil noise tonight should do the trick =) psst..n hopefully santa would notice us. =p

On a complete different note, i went down for lunch this afternoon n bumped into my batchmates. after lunch, one of my so nice guy fren then text me and here's how it goes:

boy: eh boy (it meant me. dun ask. it juz happened.) apply some lotion or whitening cream la..you look like malay la. poor u.
me: haha now i look more man. no? xD seriously..tat horrible?
boy: quite la. now very 'yang guang' haha..and XW will be happy. why din put sunblock b4 u go la? dun worry la..now jaga abit can bcome fair back.
me: Man....for me to turn fair again takes like forever u noe. Gah. Nvm "yang guang" sexy ma haha.. yeah doing her a favour for xmas la. LOL

Tho the hols was short..but its super sweet stunning and well, superb!
It all started on wednesday where I got the front seat to go back KL =) more used to the right rear seat actly since it has been ‘mine’ since jess lyn happened. haha Anyway, it was raining nonstop the entire jouney back. Hate the smell of wetty environs. Pfft.

The first surprise i received was that both my sisters got new haircut! they reli have guts! haha new look for the new year huh. that reminds me..when am i changing mine? =/

The next day the sisters n I went pyramid to do some shopping, sry I meant ALOT of shopping, the whole day. Apparently I did more of THEIRS than my own. I gotta resist all the lure of super-duper-mega-sales..n hop in to J u s c o to hunt for theirs. Where to find such a good n responsible sis u tell me? =p alas I only managed to get a top a pumps and a jeans for myself. Tats the only new clothes i have to welcome the year 2010. Sad case. Friday morning onwards was hectic! My mom n some family frens planned a trip hopping from one state to another. There’s 7 families all together n some plus their kids. Kai xin joined too! =D So, our first stop was Sitiawan, perak. Aka my hometown. (man! of all places?lol) nonetheless it was fun reminiscing those childhood memories at the beach. Arrived at abt 3pm after lunch of some local hok chew dishes.my grandma can cook better.haha. Anyway, volleyball was fun with the guys and we also took a ride on the banana boat..lousy farneyy! cuz it flipped us off only once after 2 big rounds of pure makan angin. Tsk..

Then again, it rained! Before we knew it, its dinner time already. The initial plan to some good seafood was cancelled as the restaurant was…CLOSED. As everybody was starving we simply just settled on another random restaurant n dig in.

We all were exhausted by then. Subsequently, we unloaded our stuffs in some rented house in Taiping. In fact, its 2 houses, which is big enuf to cram all 7 fams. At night the kids were bored. Hence poker cards are always the best resolution. We were playing bluff heart attack n DONKEY(see..we were THAT despo) until monopoly deal showed up! Haha. This is only the second time im playin. My very first was taught by xiao wen =) not to mention that this game is the bomb. Thks to kaixin’s bro, eric! Who always try to steal my properties. But I still won after an hour plus of a vigorous war. muahaha

Mangrove forest was the next destination followed by lunch at Tepi Sungai to compensate for losing my appetite last night =p Lunch was great but everybody was rushing to leave or else we won’t make it in time for the jeep that bring us up Maxwell Hill- 3rd stop. I must say the ride was electrifying! You will be amazed by how the jeep driver spins his steering wheel while he makes every 180 degree U-turns up an almost-90 degree slope! Its just so scary if u know wat I mean. Strictly not for ppl with motion sickness. The pathway was so steep all the way up, literally zigzagging and NARROW. Thrilling. But me likey!

The Maxwell hill resort was soooo prettayy. The building is like a lil fantasy land by its own plus its surrounded by greeneries with the mist and chilly effect. The atmosphere is just perfect for a rest an relax vacation. That’s why I always choose the hills over beaches haha. I told myself that I m u s t go there again someday =)))

It was a fun filled trip at the hill. =) And then, its was time to say goodbye to the ppl next morning. Much thx to the organizers, and also uncle calvin and auntie wendy who made the arrangements for us to stay up there. Hehe. My family left first, as we’re going to Penang, hopefully to reach by lunchtime and then check in to Hardrock Hotel to meet up with my relatives! Wheee

All in all, it was all swimming and eating routines throughout that 3 days 2 night stay in the hotel. Im so glad I agreed on my mom to joined the trip..its been a long time since my last trip with my family. It was one awesome vacation indeed. =))) I wish I could express more abt it but TIME is not allowing me to. its ticking fast! Cuz now, im back here where me and my other batchmates suppose to be and suppose to do-aimst and study(!) for the upcoming exam, which is in like 10 days time. Yeap. And im just about to start. Wth? Im already suffering the stress upon me now..but im not done with the holiday mood! *frown* like my cousins said, why my schedules are always the opposite of theirs? Ppl are expecting to take a time off and enjoy the year end break..not pressure and stress after a long year of 2009! =/ this is life. Always unfair. Ok so deal with it, I guess?

At 6.50pm, the people were all at the entrance of the Grand Hall.. walking on the red carpet, so formally dressed up, busy snapping pictures while waiting for the clock to strike 7pm when the event starts. Everybody looked stunning tat evening. Well everybody, except me. And my groupies. *frust*

Wonder why? You see..

Fri, 12am. Back to fri night, after some intense discussion, we decided to depart at 10am for breakfast and also, in order to reach Penang earlier to practise the dance steps with my other dance mate (who went penang much earlier) before the rehearsal at about 3pm. The next morning, guess wat? yeap. journey delayed. Not for 15 or 30 mins, for a whole TWO hours. (reason: simply bcuz the ppl overslept. Why am I not surprised. Lol) After our brunch and everything we finally left Kedah’s selatan toll.

Sat, 1pm. Upon arrival, while the guys were checking us in, my girlfriends n I promptly sat down and put on our nail polish. I managed to do a lil manicure too =)

2-ish pm. After dumping our luggage in the room..(wth the room was so s m a l l. imagine the 10of us tonight. Gawwd) rushed down to the hall to run through our steps over n over again. Did a few last minute changes for the intro and ending..thus MORE PRACTISE required. Who knows the sounds systems were ready only by 4.30pm! GREAT. Our appointment with the saloon gotta be postponed.

Wtv, looks like we had no other choice but to wait patiently for our turns and do it o n e b y o n e. She sucked by the way. Thk god she din dare to charge us much. Curling iron and mousse for only rm28. Hell cheap compared to prices in KL, I know =P

Oh much thks to Sim (our gentleman driver heh), for fetching us to and fro the hotel to saloon several times. Haha. We really dunno wat to do without u!

To cut the long story short, instead of reaching by 4pm we started our hairdo at 5pm. Suppose to reach the hotel for the opening act at 7pm….

back to 6.50pm. No make up whatsoever..only with my hair done..making my way through the crowds with the people staring with THE look, when i was supposed to be at the back stage already. Omg. So screwed! PANIC TIME! The organizers were calling us like mad already. Back to our room, took about 15 mins to change into our outfits, make up..and still, waiting for the other 2 to arrive!

7.30pm. AT LAST. The four us, checked. As the emcee announced our name, the DIVAS!..(dun ask how we came out with tat name.LOL)..heart pounding extremely fast and then..Light, applause, action!! =D

7.35pm. Yeap. Tho it wasn’t perfect but we rocked tat 3 mins. I totally enjoyed it. =))) pictures are with ai wen but saddest part is no one took the video of the entire dance! i only have partial of it. Daymmn.

8ish pm. to rest relax EAT(haven had anythin since brunch!tsk..) and enjoy the rest of the night.

Tats the end of my story for the oh so anticipated night. Sounded more like a rush hour, the 4^th or 5^th? Lol. Others, better left unsaid.

Sun, 11am. Woke up with an empty shrinking stomach and massive neck/back aches. Last night, all of us practically occupied every empty corner of the room. 5 on the beds 1 on the chair and other 4 squeezed on the carpet floor(they are the guys..except Ainhur who bcame a pig the sec he put his ass on the bed)! Lmao. All curled up like a baby next morning cuz the night was freezing cold. if only I rmbr to snap a pic of it! haha We took a walk around the pool. The view and deco was awesome. It’s an Aplus if they were to have a beach. Hee.. The 3 guys sim bryan ainhur decided to go for the buffet lunch where the others ordered domino pizza (!!) Still as satisfying =D

My muscles aching like hell. My knees are so sore as if the ligaments are torn apart! This is the result of doing last min hardcore practices for 3 days 3 hrs each non stop. Just so you know Im so deflated. BUT Fyi our dance on the dental dinner/prom(?) tomorrow yes its tomorrow! is gonna be awesome =) at least, I hope so.

now come to think of it all the preparations for the dinner are terribly last min. This dance and not to mention my dress too. wats more the payment, transportation, accomodation which we finally decided on the hotel itself whee, rehearsals, make appointments for our hairdo as we have 5 girls in the groupie..the boss even have to share the business with other saloons in order to get our hair done on time. wth? However, despite all the troubles, me love the excitement. haha

On another note, I wanna strongly recommend this movie to u people out there. Double thumbs up to the director. It’s a super duper sad emo touching to ur core heart movie. *melts* Those who has a heart as hard as a rock promise u’ll not cry like a baby wont u? =pp

was watching with my roommate in the middle of the night. Ppl like me n jo, who can tear just by seeing other ppl tearing, obvisously, cried like nobody's business. lol and u guessed it, wake up the next day with our eyeballs got sunken into the eyelids. =p

the story revolves around a young girl who donates her genetic materials throughout her life to her elder sister,who suffers from leukemia. and the story continues...haha Go find out yourself. it is indeed a great movie. 9.9/10. ( To me, the movie tat deserved the rest of the 0.1 is "the notebook") haha.

Its friday night wohoo! My favourite day of the week =))) sleeping late watch movie/series/utube chill n most of all no waking up at 8am the next morning!

Oh yeah. About the Dental project I mentioned few post earlier.. its finaaly done and evaluated!! There are 8 groups overall and you know wat? My beloved group got the 3rd placing. to be happy or sad? hm. We put all our hearts and souls into it for 4 friggin weeks but still? Anyhow I wasn’t too disappointed as I din put high hopes on it ‘cause other groups are really, I meant REALLY good as well. U can tell from the pics below...

But there's one thing I personally think that we won is the best teamwork award. Though we din get the first, but we knEw we are the best aite?! (i guess only the members will get this. =p) Haha Everybody was all commited and we never quits till the last sec! yeah we are no quiter! No doubt, we grew fond of each other thx to the project. Silly things we did and made fun of, this journey has been worthwhile. =) And not forgetting our very charming Professor Kalyan who has so much faith in us. lol. Unfortunately, we;re sry to let u down. =/
